Where else than in lounge :) ?

If, at the end of the war, the scientific organization, which had been created in order to liberate men for fighting and munition work, had been preserved, and the hours of the week had been cut down to four, all would have been well. Instead of that the old chaos was restored, those whose work was demanded were made to work long hours, and the rest were left to starve as unemployed. Why? Because work is a duty, and a man should not receive wages in proportion to what he has produced, but in proportion to his virtue as exemplified by his industry.

This is an quote from In Praise of Idleness by Bertrand Russell [1932]

I think a lot of good things are said. We, as a society, have to shed the master-slave mentality. It is no longer needed, and those who have power need not be afraid that their idleness will be taken away. There is enough leisure time for everybody.

This was written in 1932, in 75 years the mentality has not changed a bit.

Housing coorporations are the present day land lords. New office buildings keep getting build that will stay empty for decades.

Who do you work for.

Laziness is not the same as idleness.

Think about it.

True

get those * * out of their * chairs and down to work for real! get them to the baseball and shoes factories in Bangladesh get the kids out of there and send them to play after having given them every penny that is due. keep those * * in there working their hands off to the bone (literally) and after they have experienced work on their skin they will be sent back with a conscience of how much easier life is for them than for others.
