...what would it be?

Tomorrow I'm going to the World Psychedelic Forum in Basel, and will try to interview some of the scholars, therapists, artists, ethnobotanists and pharmacologists there, using two HD videocameras.

I'm not expecting to have the opportunity to ask Albert Hofmann a question, but there may be some people there who are willing to have a chat with the crew of the Psychonaut Channel. So, if you have questions you would like us to ask any of the following psychonauts, post them here. Thanks.

I shortened the actual list quite a bit. Go to http://www.psychedelic.info/ for the complete list.

I don't want to ask him a question. I just want you if you see him to thanks him in the name of mankind, for what he have done for us, human.

I'd ask him: "If you could relive your life, and change your mistakes, would you have synthesised LSD-25 again? And would you let the world know about it being a powerfull psychedelic?"

Ah crap, thats 2 questions!

I have a feeling he would have synthesised it again, but he would have kept it a secret.

Men I wish I could go to but it was a little to much money for me. I am curious if he kept using it and still does, or if he only did it a few times for experiment.

Jahvisions a dit:

I've seen an interview with Albert Hofmann 2 years ago in Basel. He said that the last trip he had on LSD was when he was 97...

I'd ask if he likes bananas :D

tripping grandfathers are amazing! :D

Yeah, crazy. I guess he's already pretty clear on how he feels about the substance.

What I appreciate the most about reading Hofmann's work is that it is a bastion of sanity and clear thinking in psychedelic "drug culture", objective and critical. Hence maybe I would ask him what he gets out of his experiences... does he use it to explore his senses, explore the human mind, personal insights, creativity, religious experience?

can you send me a 5cl bottle of pure LSD-25?

Ah c'mon, this is an informative conference to attend, not a community for a collective trip.

It wouldn't even cross my mind to ingest anything there, this is also fairly against Hofmann's wish, as well as many other participants, I'd estimate.

I think everything of Hofmann's thoughts on LSD are in this article: http://www.psychonaut.com/index.php?opt ... g=nl#73469

Last post.

I would ask him, if he secretly made any other substances besides lsd-25..

if yes, if he could miss some :D

As far as I remember reading in an interview with Hofmann, he said he tripped about two dozen times on lsd in his life and that was it for him because he felt it was enough. It had opened the doors and he didn't feel the need to trip again constantly.

I think I'd ask him if he'd rather never had become famous at all.
I think he'd say no, rather not. But then again he couldn't have synthesized lsd-25 - and I think he would do that again.

Well he has gone home, yes...

But if there was a question I'd be able to ask Hofmann right now it would be:
How's death?
