I need help, I took a whole 3 oz bottle of delsym 12 hour cough supressent.
I took it about 16 hours ago and it kicked in about 14 hours ago, Im still sort of tripping, how long does this shit last, i weight 195 pounds.

I didnt mean to take that much but i didnt know it was going to be this wild of a ride. I would like it to end however. does anyone here know when this shit wil end. I dont want to go to the hospital

Normally it should be over already, but in high doses it can take longer (don't how much mg you took). It can also be that you are a poor metabolizer cause of a subtype of CYP2D.

well it was 89 ml of solution
the delsym 12 hour

it contains the plastic form of dxm.

I feel a little better, but my pupils are still fucking huge and eveything is still a little dream like, or laggy. its not as bad as about 8 hours ago though, but i want it to end, i feel as if im going to be this way forever, but i keep re-assuring myself.

IF anyone can give me re-assurance or tips or anything for that matter please do so. I dont know how much longer this is going to last, i hope not long

You will be fine, you can't stop something like that at any moment. It will fade away but the after effect can take long.

Just try do something that makes you feel more relaxed, listen to some music ly down, go to a dark room, or whatever you feel is best.

The best thing to do is to chill the funk out. Just relax lay down have something to eat and a drink. Try to enjoi it, i know it sounds crazy but think happy thoughts and not about how long its gonna last. Just ride it out and you'll learned youre lesson.
Thats how it works for me when i take to much of something :lol:

Im still tripping, fuck, i just walked to the store and when i was inside i started shaking becuase i knew all the people could tell my pupils were huge. got some food and drinks thought, but it has now been almost 20 hours the drug is still in my system, I slept most of the time and perhaps thats why my metabolic rate has been slower than avarage.

I still sort of feel as if im gonna be this way forever, i really hate it.

EDIT: Well it finally fucking wore off 2 and a half days later. but i imagine im not fully recoverd. It was quite the experiance.
