hydrocodone + acetaminophen

i've had an extremely sore throat for a couple days now
this morning i went to the doctor w my girlfriend and we were both diagnosed w strep throat
evidently my symptoms were significantly further along than my girlfriend's; we were both prescribed amoxicillin, and i was additionally prescribed w prednisone and vicodin

i've never had any interest in opiates
i'm pretty confused
tell me some things

btw ive got the same thing going on. there apears to be a world wide epidemic

Pelargonium sidoides (geranium) extract is very effective against strep. throat.
its available from good health stores

i am about 1.98m tall and weigh about 75kg
i took two pills (10mgs hydrocodone + 1000mgs acetaminophen) about 50 minutes ago
the pain in my tonsils has decreased slightly and i feel none of the expected euphoria or sedation
thoughts?

you would need a lot more to notice sedation/euphoria IMO. effects vary from individual to individual when it comes to especially the euphoria. just be thankfull the pain is diminished a bit. there are better opiates to experiment with if you want to learn about the sedation/euphoria.
its a shame you cant find opium now days, its all converted to heroin.

opium is most excellent IMO and i personally class it as an etherogen

let's say, theoretically, that i wanted to experience the euphoric effects
could i do this w these 5mg hydrocodone + 500mg acetaminophen pills without experiencing negative effects from the acetaminophen?

p.s. about an hour and twenty minutes in the pain relief is kicking ibuprofen's ass

well, you can extract the paracetamol. for info purposes ill tell you how:

paracetamol is insoluble in cold water

decide how much of the opiate you want and crush the apropriate number of pills to a powder.
mix the resulting powder with about 1/2 - 3/4 cup of warm water. 50c is about right, no hotter
filter using a fine filter paper (if you can find it). itll take a while to go through

you can use a coffee filter but you will have top be carefull with the next step

put the resulting solution in the fridge and leave it overnight. there will be a white precipitate on the bottom. decant the water carefull without disturbing the sediment too much.

carefully filter the water again. you now have a hydrocodone solution fairly free of paracetamol. dont try and boil it dry, you will destroy it. store it in the fridge and dose with the unpleasantly bitter solution

dont OD on paracetamol, its one of the worse ways to die

What he said. Also, I've hit a pretty good spot on vicadin after taking a couple of pills and tossing back a couple of beers. Beware of possible liver damage though.

yea if you are looking for an opiate high (the extreme euphoria) it's going to take a lot more than some vicodin IMO. you don't want to be popping large amounts of something like vic's b/c of the acetaminophen.

unless you did the extraction thing. a friend of mine did it with like 10 vic 10mg's all within like 30-40 minutes probably. i remember it had to cool for a while in the freezer. you're left with a really nasty tasting liquid, but if you do it right it's straight hydrocodone.

but really, if you're actually looking for an opiate buzz, i don't think it gets much better than around 30-50mg of perc's or an OC-40 +

the reason overnight in the fridge is safer than the freezer is the paracetamol produces larger crystals that are easier to filter out. you cant be too carefull with paracetamol unless you have a spare liver handy
