of course there are not only humans on this planet, but imagine the analogy:

- mycelium is sort of a intelligent organism, which works as a whole, organising nutrients and everything else that is needed for the growth of the organism as a whole. mycelium has fruits in the forms of mushrooms.

-humans are a intelligent race, which works as a whole, organising nutrients and everything else that is needed for "growth of humanity". humanity has fruits in the form of new humans and stuff like inventions and achievements.

so what do we learn by that???well... probably nothing, but maybe it allows us to see humanity and all other things from a different perspective ???

peace :weedman:

I believe the start of religion is awareness of the unity of Huwoman.

Direct contact to women would do me good , but when i get it i keep getting myceleum from then and it itches like crazy........

GOD a dit:

Oh dear! Haha

Cool analogy... I see where your going. What is also insane when I think about it is...

Well when people talk about collective consciousness, and how it's a "theory", isn't our own brain the collective consciousness of all it's neurons? Isn't our body just a multicellular organism, living and breathing on multiple levels of organization, ultimately viewing itself as a human? Does this chain go farther, like you say, to mycelium level?

It sort of goes in both directions of scale... Scale fucks with my head

i was just bringing this analogy to understand better what you were pointing towards, Jesus. :weedman:

you are of course right! the idea is about collective consciousness... yes... multiple organisation... that is what most societies are about ??? and of course the brain in connection with the body.

but well... i think i brought the analogy, because i wanted to point to the underlying nature of humans, in spite of the growing articialness that seems to be there in our human lives....because however artificial it may seem... it would still be natural... it would be a different level of naturalism of course, but it would be there...

the question remains: how far away can we go from nature ??? how much can we suppress our nature ??? will we forget our nature or have we already done this ???actually i think we're not too far, from forgetting our own nature, but well it's kind of obvious in the world we were creating for ourselves.... = artificial world...

the good news is that not all of us are like that and that not everything is lost already!!!!!! i think a bit of the problem lies in the pride of humanity and the striving for advance be it in technology or in whatever...

peace.

Anyway im tokin on some legal ex-ses thing!
Really great for vivid dreams, i get more clear headed out of it and alittle high!
So this post might seem abit strange:
I've been thinking about something similar,
im not sure if we are the only super intelligent race in this world, i believe in mystical creatures from other perceptual world who are also pretty intelligent, but they dont come into physical form that easy!
(some way out trippy stuff)
I was also thinking about the ants, they serve the whole colony and the queen!
We dont have that kind of hardcore fascism (haha) in the human race!
But in a way, we are like ants though!
We work like them, we serve society by getting a job and paying taxes!
We mate differently, but its all about reproduction!
But the difference is that we are more aware of our selfs, we question our living!
Hard to get to my point but!!!!

An ants life really has not much value in a colony, they live only to work as a whole! They are so many, that one's death is no big deal!
But we humans somehow put to much value in our lives, i dont know why really! I mean, to the whole of soceity is my death nothing!
It means alot to my closest of family, but...yeah!

So if there is a whole we are unconsciously serving, what is it?
Religion? Development? Intelligence? Gaia?
Is something leading us?
Am i to high to make sense?
And are the elfs of hyperspace real?

IS the brain consciousness or IS it more something like the "carrier" for consciousness??? i don't know ... maybe it's hard to draw a clear separating line here...

collective consciousness is basically many separate consciousnesses that work together and hence form the "collective consciousness" . like the consciousness of a colony, or the consciousness of a species a whole... in human terms something like the consciousness of a culture, or of a group who understands itself as something like a clan... or rougly expressed maybe something like a political party and it's followers... or for example patriotism...

it really seems to be the cooperation of "individual consciousnesses" which forms the basis for the huge diversity that can be observed on the planet.

When you die, there's no more conciousness. Where did It go?
:?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?:

i don't know, but from all i have thought through, it must be another plane of existence or the same plane, but either differently perceived or not perceived at all anymore... what i am almost sure of is that there has to be a transition between the states, but well in simple words the transition lies in the "moment of death".

peace.

Maybe life is everywhere, at all scales. What I mean is...

All living beings on earth contribute to keeping it alive (supposedly...). We have organisms in our body that makes it function and therefore keeps us alive. These organisms could have even smaller organisms in them that keep them alive. And our earth could just be a part of a huge (for us) atom which is part of a living organism's body, which keeps a huge (for it) organism alive.

That's infinity :)

When you die, there's no more conciousness. Where did It go?

Where was it before you were born??? :?: :?: :( I am really desperate about that.

The analogy between mycelium and humans is quite obvious if you think about the fact we have a common ancestor

The analogy is not just for mycelium, it's for entire nature :)
