A Prophecy
By Zuid-Kennemerland Park in the Netherlands,
these words were planted on 29 November 2008
and they have sprouted on 4-5 December 2008.
Today’s prohibition
is yesterday’s inquisition.
Freedom’s disposition
is tomorrow’s proposition.
Those that care not for people but for power
know that this is the chiming of their final hour.
On the outside,
they are fortified.
On the inside,
they are terrified.
The way to get to them is clear:
start right now, start right here.
They are weaker than they appear.
Their motives are vulnerable to greed
and they have more of it than what we need.
Their ideals are vulnerable to compromise
and its outcome will come as a surprise.
Their laws are vulnerable to fact
and that is exactly why we must act.
Their powers are vulnerable to change
which we must practically arrange.
People’s minds are open to reason.
Mushrooms are reason’s treason.
People’s hearts are open to light.
Mushrooms are light’s delight.
There is no need to turn our reason into a cult.
There is no need to leave our light to the occult.
Knowledge takes persistence.
Tolerance takes sustenance.
Change takes insistence,
more than mere resistance.
As diverse as Hinduism,
far older than Capitalism,
a source of theatre and religion
and a proven modern medicine,
Shamanism shows us a way in.
The clear and present contradiction
at the very heart of their constitution
is a wide open space clearly meant
for the ingestion of our sacrament.
Freedom: use it or lose it.
Wisdom: love it or leave it.
Nature and spirit, science and art,
we have all that change needs to start.
Naturally, it always begins in your heart.
Spiritually, it always hits you in the head.
Scientifically, it does not leave you dead.
Artistically, it makes a new world instead.
Love of beauty is not a crime.
It is our gateway to the divine.
Justice does not come for free.
It comes because of you and me.
It takes a little time
for a little rhyme
to literally come true.
How long? For who?
That is up to you.
This beauty transcends
all that begins and ends.
You have seen the white light too.
Let your life be what it asks of you.
I believe in you.
I live in you.
I love you.
I am you.
You are me.
Let it be.

THE NUT IN A NUTSHELL: Love & truth & beauty: From me to you, from you to me, forever anew as what will be. From one to all, sharing its call. Let us pass this on to the coming dawn.
