hrm. i have about 10 peyote that are about 8 months old. i was expecting them to look a bit bigger then they are.. but i cant seem to give them any sunlight.

i have 2 that look like they are doing very well in the sun light, but the other 8 seem to change a dimmer green. i have had them sitting under a light for the past week incase they got sunburnt, but they all seem to be about the same size as they were 4 months ago. (other then the 2)

im not sure if they are suposed to be this small still, or if im not giving them enough light/water. (i water them about once every 3-7 days)

Give it time. They grow slooooooooooooooow!

I have got mine 2 years and it has hardly grown bigger.

I suppose that if you're growing themselve, eating them at some point in your life will be a waste. Unless if you have 10 full adults or something. But you won't get there if you don't live in an environment with LOTS of sun year after year. Living in an area on the equator would be, great, to put mildly.

In anyway, if I'd manage it to build up a big peyote collection and want to consume them, I'd ingest lots of San Pedro first, and then start with chewing the buttons carefully and subtle, sucking them and in the end swallowing them.

But the sad truth is that most of us are more or less forced to keep peyotes as the plant itself.

that is a very good idea to take san pedro first. i now have a plan:) i think i am going to buy 2 year old peyote online. i found a place where its going to cost about $110 for 20 of them, and just start growing them from there.

i live in north america, on the lower parts of canada, so we dont get alot of strong sunlight. i guess well see what happens.

Is it a good idea to put them in a growroom that is constantly on 12/12 under 600 watt, and is growing between cannabis plants?

I don't have Peyote's yet, but I'm thinking of getting a pair.
