How to embed a YouTube video in your post

First, find the YouTube video you want to post.

Copy the ID of the video from the url. The ID is the part after v= in the URL.

For example, if this is the URL you see displayed in your address bar;

In this case, copy the code fI9lzBISIOw

Now, back on the forum, create a topic or reply, and use the youtube button

paste the video ID between the tags.

[youtube]fI9lzBISIOw[/youtube]

It should now display your video:

[youtube]fI9lzBISIOw[/youtube]

haha rather odd little thing just happened
i just posted 2 videos in the random favourite song thread and was a little perturbed by having forgotten how to post youtube vids on this forum
then i came back to this page and the first thing i saw was this
