How many of you belong to NA?

as in Narcotics Anonymous? I was asking because I recently went through a detox center and my first 28 day rehab program. I've been going to meetings on and off since getting out. Just curious if anyone else from these esteemed forumns are members or used to be actively involved.

But I am quite familiar with the workings of these groups.


I know NA is similar to AA in many ways....I was asked, by the parole board in my state whether I had attended NA meetings while I was incarcerated.

"No" I said

" Why not "? she said

" Because I wasn't addicted to, nor used, narcotics, I am here because of psychedelics "

" You should be in NA anyway " she said


So it should be seen for what it is, which is a support group atmosphere which encourages abstinence based on peer pressure.

NA and religion have something in common, to wit;

they are great ideas if someone else didn't force them on you.

Fuck that shit man, personally. If you have addiction to opiates, maybe cocaine, Iboga is the way.
