what would be the term to refer to that third principle? i call it the awareness of the duality. you see, i have pondered about the nature of the universe and discovered the fundamental interdependent dual forces of yin/yang, day/night, crest/valley. but there's more: there's the realization of said duality. it's like you realize the relationship between the two sides of a coin, you start seeing people playing games and staying at one side and blaming the other for their problems and some switch from time to time but when you get it you stop thinking in terms of this vs that and see the coin itself, which would be the realization of the dual states and so you're in neither.

does this have a name?

(ask me if you don't see what the hell i'm writing about)

The third perspective .

The first is the way a child sees the world . Hes the center point and all he can see and understand are his wishes . Gime , gime gime , mama , chocky , chocky , chocky......NOW ..

The second comes when a person gets a bit older and sees himself as part of / in a group .

The third is real adult hood . Seeing onself in a group , seeing all the people in it and how the act / react to each other and being able to separate action from reaction by putting thought / awareness in between . Haveing and over view . VERY , VERY few people can and do do it .

yes... but i feel like this concept must have some textbook name or similar, like a philosophical term maybe? i found that when you draw a symbol of the duality it is called taijitu, so a "yin-yang" can be referred to as a taijitu and is one of the many ways it could be drawn. but this only refers to the pictorial representation of it and not the concept itself...

i like the 'third perspective'... but it should rather be something like the 'meta perspective' since it is not a third way of looking at things but a new one, above the other two.

"the third principle"

ok, it has a nice ring to it. i'll use it until something i like more arises.

Its the third level of conscious development . The one nearly no one ever reaches but that many pretend to have reached and call themselves grown up or adult .
