High-quality strains that flower fast

Hey all.....I am curious as to the fastest flowering, ultra-potent strains you know of. I'm looking for the total package here, with the priorities;

1) potency
2) yield + speed

of course, there are other factors, but these are the main ones right now. I have experience with all phases of growing, but not recent experience with the latest offerings in the 'bred-seed' area.


I am looking at a few right now;

'Flo' (djshort)
'AK99' (cross between AK-47 and Cinderella 99)
'White Rhino'

These will be ran in soil and hydro, whichever ones I actually start with, just to compare the actual yields, potency, and overall quality level. I intend to put to rest, in my own mind, anyway, the endless debate about hydro vs. soil....as well as learn about some 21st century canna genetics in a legalized setting, as I intend to move to the Rockies next spring and begin legal production of the good herb.

Hey Spice how's life ?

Nowadays I only grow for personal use and I am a Haze and Sativa lover. Yesterday I got a Sativa seed mix from greenhouseseeds in the mail (ordered via Azarius). This pack contains some of the most amazing haze strains (Neville's and Super Silver). Both are long flowering strains (14-16).

However, the reason I ordered this pack was because Arjan's Haze #1 was in the pack which looks like a strain you could be looking for (quality & potency & relatively short flowering time of 11 weeks for a Haze). Check their vid about this particular strain:

Yes, I am a fan of the guys at Greenhouse, as well as a lot of other seed breeders over there. GH doesn't send to America, but there are ways......


The Arjans Haze #3 looks real good too.

Indoors?
i wouldnt really go for a supershort flowering strain but if i did it would be northern lights from sensi, can be done in 42-49 days, good for sog, robust and tolerates plant abuse.

white russian from serious are worth a look for sure, very high potency, can be grown in a "tree" style grow for heavy yields (loadsa pics online of these babies weighing in 15-20-30oz). they take 60-70days but youll get el primo thc soaked fat buds, big calyxes

chronic from serious.. ive had the strain for two years now, still going strong, 55-60 days flower yields .75 -.9gpw.

spice, them bubblesystems have out performed anything else i have ever tried, whether its soil or hydro and by a huge margin.

Good to know that. Were you using the typical deep water culture, aka bubbling buckets?

I think that those sound real good. I have friends that did it in the past.....one of them said that the most potent weed he ever smoked grew in a bubbler.

No, I don't really care for the indica dominant style weed either. Don't get me wrong, a well-timed indica smoke sometimes is just what the doctor ordered, but I find it tiring through the day.

When I say 'speed', I mean, basically, 8 or 9 weeks....for my personal, I am willing to go twelve, but thats another thread discussion altogether.....

I'm going to Colorado next year to grow legally, so, this is the beginnings of my studying up.....anyone has good cannabis sites/books/links, hit me with 'em.

Get yourself some Serious Seeds AK47. Id say 30-50 seeds and grow them all looking for a brilliant pheno to mother.

AK is Stable as it comes, mould, bug and stress resistant with a kick arse high

The yield would be worth it too, I have seen high dissolved oxygen hydro systems produce 60oz plants

I garuntee you will be happy and will give you ample time to play

White Russian is AK47 X White Widow, A very high THC plant but not easy to work with I hear

Were you using the typical deep water culture, aka bubbling buckets?

yeah i tried a few different types but the best was a home made one from a 60 litremin airpump in 30 litre res. thats miles more air than them ready bought bubblers.
that what sticki mentioned is the way to go,big airpumps are noisy though
everything else is a positive.

the design is good, just scale the bucket size and amount up and down to suit the grow type intended.
use white buckets n cover them, a bigger resovoir, pump more air and the chiller "shouldnt" be needed.

Go now by next spring there will be so many people trying to do this it will be a mess. It is looking messsy already and they will change the rules soon

I know, you're absolutely right.

I follow the local news there closely, and it appears that the scene has exploded beyond belief.

Alas, I cannot go now, due to factors beyond my control.......I'd be there already.

If worse comes to worse, I'll just have to figure out California, I guess.....
