Hello, explorers ;

I didn't know that a board where people talk about drugs and related topics could exist ; now, I know.

I take a few things (and I see things too), once or twice a year, I write a lot, words and music, and I like to... link these experiences. How drugs can catch ideas, feelings, and something that I don't know how to translate from french to english, "percepts". And how the things I create can resonate and bring a whole new world when I'm a little bit high. I don't do this the same way as Henri Michaux, I don't write and take things simultaneously ; I like to totally be in the "alternate" version of the world I see, so no writing nor playing, just sharing ; and I like to be totally in the creative process, so no drugs while I write or play.

This board looks like a nice place to share about experiences with drugs, somehow with an idea of a relative sanity. I did a mistake, I posted the wrong story the wrong way in the wrong section ; I apologize, sincerely, about it. A lot of work and lack of sleeping.

I am 25, things I tried are speed, mdma, lsd, lsa, coca, cocaïne. Of course, marijuana. I don't take a lot of drugs, and I don't take a lot of different drugs either. Most of times, mdma with lsd do it badly, bring awesome talkings and is a very amusing way to see the world around me.

Next experience for me will be the Hadra party, 6 days from here ; it seems... nice.

The little I heard of Zappa was a... nice experience. More than the music, the man is considerably unusual, by his way of working with his musicians and his way of seeing his music. And yeah, he was an amazing musician.

But I feel definitely closer of the music of Coltrane, Shepp, Kirk, and all that thing in mid-60's. (And of course, other modern musical experiences)

Yes, it has do with perception, but no, it's not perception ; perception is something that we do, a "percept" is like a picture of what we perceive at a definite instant, Deleuze & Guattari used this word and it's perfect to describe all these little things that we catch while living.

hellz yes. I have just recently herd of an artist that works out of Florida that takes dmt then when he comes down off the tripp paints his visual's. I'm no good at art with paper I do make odd pictures but nothing good but I am a bass guitarist and have a lot of fun with it iv been playing for almost 6 years jamming the grateful dead,zepplin and black Sabbath is the most fun do you play anything or have a specific area of art? Didn't wanna keep crappin out stuff about myself >.>

@ Opiuchus : the word I use in french is "percept" ; I didn't find anything in english. Philosophy and translation.... Haha. But I'd say that it can be used in english, as it is used in french.

Yeah, it feels like a home here ; where I am, people take massive amount of drugs (lsd, mdma, ketamine, speed...), without any care about sanity, security, and dosage. It's like "hey man I don't see anything in the dark, I think I did a 0.100mg of mdma but I'm not sure". One hour later : "Hey... man... I... wooooooooo..."

So it's not fun, to take drugs with people like that around me. Most of the times I go in free parties, I'm more or less alone, with good discussions sometimes, but... Bah, what's the purpose of drugs, if not sharing something intense and completely outsized ? And share it another way that in front of the big BAM-BAM-BAM machine ? Beh. I feel like a pioneer from another world when I go in Britanny's free parties. " - What ? Talking ? Sharing ? For what ? I'm too high mate !"

I do crap with drawing, but I do this anyway. Because it's just good to draw things you have in mind, to play it with an instrument, or to write it in a notebook. Not feelings, not ideas, just translations of what you are at a specific time, not in your mind but in the world of shapes, what I call in a fiction work I'm writing the Forma Mundi, where the concept named "duration" doesn't even exist. Yeah, improvisation

I agree iv just settled down from the out and about party life and have been a improviser from my birth (even got kicked out of a band for improvising but they were old dudes anyway ) maybe I should say I jam blues alot. And i don't play my bass like an ass I play it like a guitar just wif some steady timing throughn in. I'm also a big D&D nerd I started playing games at 19 so don't worry iv had fun going places an partying but the only time ill do that now is at festivals I have no probs trippin by my lonesome or with my wife and just running around my area without the worry of a hole pack with me.
