help with lights

does any one know if reptile basking lights UVA/B, do they produce any extra spectrums of light compared to a MH and a HPS light globe.
wanted to add a couple of them at mid plant height for extra light??

Reptile lights are typically different from plant lights (the long flouro's aren't that great - ie. the tube's). If you want additional lighting look up some 5000K and 7500K of 100W CFL's. Cheaper and a few with mirrored sockets go a long way.

T5 fluro or CFL is best for side lighting, Not sure reptile lights have enough power to be honest.
