Help On Mushroom ID- Somewhat Urgent

Here are pics of 2 different mushrooms. The first I found growing next to some moss on the side of a hill about 2 feet from where I dumped out a contaminated cake 3 days ago.
The stem to the first mushroom is broken off but is about 3cm long and the same color as the cap getting darker towards the bottom.

Also if this helps, the 1'st mushroom I could only find 1 other one within a 10ft radius (still didn't find one past that) and the second one was found completely by itself.
This second one I found on under some leaves/debris under a tree.
I couldn't find a guide to what mushrooms are poisonous in my area so I have to post this here. I live close to the habitat of Psilocybe atlantis http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psilocybe_atlantis.

2 things that may help. where in the world are you, and at the base, when you picked it, was there a vulva, a sort of bag under the soil? also does it change colour when the flesh is broken. if so from what to what colour?

On the small mushroom, when I broke the stem from the cap there was no apparent color change, I can't say on the big one, as I found it deep in the woods and couldn't transport it out safely.

it may be an amanita. shame the gills are darkening. without knowing if or not it has a volva i would not eat it although it looks a lot like edible mushrooms i pick. look up Destroying angel and death cap, study what you find and then decide. the volva is MOST important to learn about. i cant tell. sorry. in this case if in doubt throw it out. there is a hit destroying angel, but itll be your last. let us know how you get on....

destroying angel can take 2 weeks to kill you. you like soup? you are soup! there is an edible species, agaricus arvensis looks v similar but unless sure dont bother. its not a psilocybe whatever youve got. also look up indocybe and clitocybe(fnarf fnarf) as they have similar forms. there are 600+amanitas that will poison you.

which ones. and where? there are hundreds of amanitas, different in europe and america. im not saying it is but eating it is a hard way to find out. it looks like field mushrooms i make money on but i live in europe. u cant make mistakes with mushrooms its that simple. if you dont know dont eat it. he doesnt know. a. virosa has white spore print, distinctive smell(smells good) white gills till they begin to rot. you may know it but not from those photos. maybe its a.bisporigera, or a.verna. dont know=dont eat. it also looks like horse mushroom and theyre good to eat. dont even know if thers a volva. im NOT an expert but i pick wild mushrooms and sell them. there are chemical tests, smell, form of gills all sorts that have to be known. you only get one liver and its best to make it last

It really does look like an Amanita, I didn't even bring it out of the forest. Does anyone know of any web pages or books that could help me out in identifying? Considering there are over 150,000 different kinds of wild mushrooms here.
