Long story short, I have an interesting heart condition that I came down with a number of years ago - it effectively ended my love affair with psychoactives. This was a tough blow for me, as I loved them dearly (pot, LSD, etc).
Well, I need to get back into it. I'm trying to keep this short, so I'll add a few points then ask my general question. Before I came down with my problem, I'd done shrooms a few times (and loved them), but moved on to LSD because I had the mother of all hook ups. I've dropped acid easily hundreds of times and never had a "bad trip" (started to a couple times, but was able to talk myself down and turn those into beautiful learning experiences). So I know what I'm getting into, as far as experience goes.
My main question is what kind of real world effects have you all seen with psilocybin use? My experience with shrooms was easily ten years ago, long before I was even mildly concerned with such things.
The best information I've been able to come up with was from a study on psilocybin and an ADD drug that measured an average 10bpm (beat per minute) increase over the whole of the study group.
I understand this is a long shot, as far as questions go. Probably the only people that'll be able to really understand what I'm getting at are people in the medical field who actively use shrooms, but I figure it's worth asking.
As always, any and all advice/responses are appreciated ahead of time.
