Hey guys, as some of you read I had surgery recently due to a hernia. Well I won't be able to talk to my Dr. until Monday so I was wondering if anyone here was experienced.
I had surgery to repair the hernia, Tuesday, and noticed that 1 testicle is roughly 2cm lower than my left one. I tried a Google search but got a bunch of stuff, anyone care to take a guess as to why, and if I should be worrying until Monday? :p

they are both outside the body though?
tthe only guess i can come up with is to do with the muscles that retract them. its either a [guess remember] the nerve to the muscle has been traumatised some how, or its anxiety related, perhaps following your operation.
your doctor is the person to ask, but unless its been pulled up into your body its nothing to worry about

Thanks for quick answer, they are both outside the body, trust me if they weren't I'd be sitting in the ER right now. :P I figured it wasn't much to worry about just thought I'd throw out the question in case anyone has been in same position. Anyways, like I said, thanks again Drugless. :p **goes back to icing balls** ;)

I think the position of the testicles is mainly determined by the skin. If the operation altered the position of skin, the testicles may go uneven. The middle line of the sack should of course be in the center. If the operation pulled that line to the left or right, the inside will get out of balance, and the testicle will press on a part of the sack where the skin is too elastic. If the condition stays the same, a little "cosmic surgery" might rectify the situation.

Thanks for making me picture your uneven balls :P
Get well soon buddy, let us know what the doctor had to say about it

No wonder one of them developed the sense to retreat just a little bit to stay warmer.

^You lick balls?!?

LOL carebare hahahaha

right on.

afaik it's normal one can be higher up than the other. I know one of mine is already for quite a while :P

in anatomy we were taught that every male has one higher than another. I think it is the left that is statistically higher than the right. But my prof. told me he thought it had to do with which leg you favor. I you think about it in order to walk normally they do have to sit one higher than the other and one alittle in front of the other.

maybe one got colder than the other. :ANAL:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Testicle

Male mammals have two testicles, which are often contained within an extension of the abdomen called the scrotum. In mammals with external testicles it is most common for one testis to hang lower than the other. It is estimated that in about 65% of men the lower hanging testicle is the Left (Owner's left) one[2]. This is due to differences in the vascular anatomical structure on the right and left sides

is it hairy ? Please, tell me more.
