Hallucinogenic Plant Question

What is a good hallucinogenic plant that has a short duration and mild hallucinogenic effects that is good for beginners?

Try salvia - read up on it first.

I'm too tired to elaborate, but salvia is interesting, but hard to gain anything from. It's basically just hallucinations that have no grounding in physical reality, or any meaning either. Other psychodelics, lsd, psilocybin, mescaline are all very helpful and meaningful, but are longer lasting.

If you're just looking for "hallucinations" (ie. visuals), you'd better stay away from psychedelics until you understand what they're really about. Just my opinion.
I wouldn't recommend salvia anyway, as I would not classify the effects as "mild", when done properly (you obviously didn't do it the right way)

Right, if you didn't hallucinate off salvia you didn't do it correctly.

I really think salvia is the only drug that is good for "just hallucinating".

Take a strong extract (like 5x or more) and smoke it right - but then it won't exactly be mild. However the effect is short, so no time for a bad trip really. Have someone as a trip sitter because it will take you out for a few minutes, you might knock over things or accidentally light the carpet with the pipe...

I really think salvia is the only drug that is good for "just hallucinating".

I'm still jealous. I've only just barely halucinated once. Maybe my stash is lame or something. I find it an enjoyable weed like high when I smoke even when I take the biggest hit I can and hold it before my lungs catch fire. Maybe ill get lucky and the water pipe I'm getting will let me do more.

Though I am just smoking leaves but I dont have the money to really invest in experiment with extracts and proper smoking tools and what not. Maybe in a month or two.

Shwanke, be careful then - you may be expecting too little, heh...

Salvia was the most intense experience of my life, mostly because I quickly forget how intense DMT is - Salvia STICKS to the memory. Falling through a kaleidescope of people is enough to warp you for an hour or two.

We'll ive heard lots of stories about salvia and everyone seeing the same being and being so high you forget your smoking it while you drag on it. Ive had the forgotten drag thing on other stuff but not on salvia.

One time a LONG time ago I had a Holy Fuck moment on it but it wasnt visual it was like I could 'see' 'everything' 'everywhere' 'all at once'. But it wasnt concrete in anyway. It was like a total mind shift. But then I just figured that was like the LSD "OMG I CURED CANCER" moments and wasnt very impressed lol.

Still. It is what opened up my abiltity to do that artwork I posted. It like unlocked a part of my brain perminently that I have complete control over yet if I just allow myself to experience that part of my brain i can blow people's minds visually on paper or whatever. (This is the one where I did a 30 second salvia line art on the back of a cash register reciept and the guy behind the counter went OMG OMG I TOTALLY GET WHAT YOUR SAYIN IN THIS WOWOWOW and he wasnt on anything lol.)
