Hi all,

I received ten mimosa hostilis seeds yesterday and will plant them the coming weeks.

Are there people here experience with this? In about three weeks I move into my new home where I will build one growing room sufficient for a couple of Salvia plants, 4-5 cannabis plants and some mimosa.

Looking for advice in growing this :)

HC

I have some Mimosa plants now for a few months. They are growing ok but not very fast think they need lots of light. Also keep you humidity high I have them now in a filterbag to keep humidity high and under some tube lighting. I will post a picture in a while, did not make it yet.

Think growing different plants in one growroom could be difficult , don't know on how the mimosa and the salvia would react on a hps light, but perhaps they will adapt.

I had some salvia standing outside in the summer , it turned almost purple from pigment because of the outside light, something like this might also happen in your growroom.

A bit wrong forum m8  Mimosa Hostilis in not very synthetic.

Anyway... I think you should be able to grow them all in one room, because all of them need light and warmth.

The "Cacti" link also points to the "Synthetics" area. Well, now that the problem has been acknowledged, it's prolly safe to assume that it'll be fixed in the near future.

Yes thats right , its fixed again. Just some links were mixed up. I will also move this topic to Other psychoative plant, and post the picture ofcourse once I made it.

grown mimosa just as I grow morning glory's, just put them in some comercial soil with loads of water, and after 10 days the first plants came up out of the soil, and now 9 of the 10 seeds are growing :) and now 3 weeks later the bigest is about 4 cm and has multiple leafs.

hmmm seems I have to find some mimosoid trees here so I can put the bacterias with the soil for the little baby plants.

I'm going to look for it in a few weeks. I'm moving to a new house next months so I'll keep the seeds untill then.

When/if I find anything I'll let you know.

You are dutch arent you? maybe you know if there are some mimosoid trees that are general to (north) holland?

Yes I'm dutch.

Dont know about mimosa growing in NL. I do know that mimosa hostilis is growing in the wild in Portugal. A guy I know from South France, goes there twice per year for his supply.

very useful info :D thanks!

i'll start looking around.... any hint? (of course i'm from Portugal)

yes I was in the south of spain a few weeks ago and saw them growing!

but my mum was keeping a close eye on me because I told her about the dmt in mimosa and she is aware of my practices in stuff, and is angry the last while for stuff so i found it a great pity i wasn't able of taking some mimosa back home.

Bummer dude, but hey, you're only 17 right?
You'll have your whole life to try this out, better not rush into it ey? ;)

But how is the score with the mimosa plant... Still growing?

Where are you going to put mimosa-tree I think it is a tree.So if it is I do not know if that plant when put out side cause it is big the clima in europe is not in growing instructions.Unles you have a greenhouse. But this is only if mimosa is tree, and you will wait some years-like Peyote- 8) about 15-20years.

Wow, so if you grow your own you'll have a 2 year preperation for you ayahuasca trip :)

Really HeartCore ? I have some seedlings that are now a few months old. But I have seen the bark that is used for ayahuausca and that is of an full grown tree.

Doesn't look like that could grow in a few years. Can you give us a reference or a link, would be interested in that.
