hi

I've got some seeds with a colored coathing from Greenhouse.
Can i just put them in the soil or does that colored coathing needs to go off first? Some one has experience with these type of seeds?

Thanks in advance

No, you can just put them in the ground. Of the 8 seeds I sowed (three strains), only one failed to come up: a Big Bang feminized... The other Big Bang has germinated, but though it's well above the ground, the leaves still seem to be trapped in the seed (see picture), for three days already...

okay thanks

another question;

I wanted to sow them in my growcase today, but i didn't do that yet..
it's like 38 °C right now in it. My Nicotinia rustica and Syrian rue seeds germinated very well in that growcase last week (all 5 of the tobacco and almost every syrian seed i sowed germinated)
but i'm not sure if cannabisseeds can handle that temperature?

Would 38°C be too hot for them to germinate? Or should they germinate even better and faster at such high temperature?

On my room it's only 18°C, which is a bit n the low side, i guess.
What i also can do is take some plastic terrarium i've got, and hang a warmth-lamp (such a red one) in it, would that be maybe a better idea? Temp would be around 25°C then.

Thanx in advance

S.

edit: oh, i also read on wietforum.nl that high temperatures would result in more males? I think that's bulshit, coz my seeds are feminized, or is it true?

Mine germinated at room temperature, which ranges between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius.

38°C !!!!!!! Thats much to hot and a heat lamp is not a good idea . Its also to hot for the other seeds . Tobaco grows in normal north european sommer temperatures very well .
