I'm not going to lie about it: I'm happy he (Oleg) is gone, because he was unwilling to change his attitude, and never admitted he made mistakes.

He's been gone for a while now, and the forum has not degraded into a place where people talk about 2012 and fairies all the time. Rather since his absence the opposite seems to have occured... We've got a bunch of new, actively posting intelligent members, and there is a peaceful atmosphere. Some weeks ago I suddenly felt very enthusiastic about Stan Grof's work, and I'm happy I was able to express my enthusiasm and share some ideas here, without being "challenged" by GOD all the time.

But I do wonder what the fudge happened, and how he's doing. I've asked around, but no one seems to know.

I also wonder why Space-is-the-Place and Douglas are not participating anymore.

there has been too much trouble around here recently and too many concentrated attacks. It's the wisest of some members decide to make breaks - or quit. Not because they need to but because something has been going on - which very few - not even me - know about.

it's true he had the tact of a bull in a china shop, but he asked real questions (the kinds of hard questions psychonauts inevitably will face if they are to ever be accepted socially) and his main concerns were always 1. safety and 2. the long term public image of the psychedelic community as a whole. i miss having him around.

but things change and actually things are pretty good here these days. there was a few months of seemingly nonstop shitfights on this forum and that seems to have ended thankfully artyman:

and yeah too bad douglass had to move on as well. i appreciated his perspective on magic.

Yeah it's true that although GOD sometimes polluted the forum badly, he also was a very good addition to the forum as an experienced user and grower, with his willingness to help (as long as we don't talk about fairies :lol: ), give good tips, his good intentions.

I'd like to still have him around, with a less agressive and arrogant attitude though.

And I miss Douglass too, never understood why he left?
