whats the best way to make a fruiting chamber for panaelous cyanescans out of a tub?

2 cakes with no pinning in over a week makes me baww

current setup is tub with light fixture overhanging and lid closed with vermiculite on the floor and the occasional misting of hydrogen peroxide mixed with water

Why do you have Verm on the floor? You need Pertile to add moisture. And mark me wrong, I thought you had to case to grow Cyanescens.

Perlite is better in my opinion but both will work. Vermiculite tends to grow mold a lot easier.

And yes, it would be much better to break up those cakes and make one big casing out of both.
