Hi everybody !
I went to Maastricht last week for a day. I had only one day in town, so I decided to send some mushrooms to France.
I sent 24 g of fresh Hawaiian mushrooms (Copelandia Cyanescens) in a package. I don't know why but post has been slow and I just got the shroom yesterday.... so 12 days after I bought them in the smart shop.
On the box it says : 11/07/2008.
I wonder if they are still ok and can be eaten They're very black. Don't look very nice (they were white when I sent them.
I heard we can consume fresh shroom until 2 weeks after or even 3 weeks. but in my case they weren't in the fridge until today.
By the way, should I put them in something closed or just like that in fridge without any cover? I opened the box once I received them because there was some condensation in the box, and I thought it was better if I opened it. I hope I did well.
Anyway, what do you think about that? Should we eat them?
As you can see on the pictures, they are really black, but the smell seems fine. I mean, they definetly smell bad, but not like moldy smell (not in my opinion). Just like feet
Thanx for your answers... (btw we plan to do the trip on fiday night.)
