ive been away from the forum for a couple of days. i was writing about mushroom bliss, the countryside and suchlike when i realised i should be outside enjoying the good weather. so i hitched to Loch Ness, you may have heard of it. i lit a fire and fished for my dinner. then i tried to meditate and found i couldnt. partly it was being eaten by midges but mainly i kept thinking about subjects in this forum. it wasnt till the following dawn i managed to free my mind. does anyone else miss the forum if you dont have access? im not normally obsessive but.....then i thaught of this question

they(whoever they are) say modern computing, and windows in particular wouldnt be possible without the LSD in california. could be true

I can be at times although it is pretty easy to let go after breaking the cycle of coming here all the time. I know I won't have internet access next month or the month after next so my mind is already prepared to not have internet at all. I waited a long time before actually registering a user name with this website.

Have you seen the episode of south park where they lose internet access? http://www.southparkstudios.com/ click full epidsodes then season 12 and the over logging episode... I laughed my fucking ass off watching that... kinda a reality check for me too.

I think computers and pyschedelics go hand and hand, maybe the emergence of the pyschedelic era of the 60's gave birth to computer...? Maybe these worlds are quite similar in many ways... Alot of great computer progammers I know use psychedelics frequently. I rather be coming here frequently and constantly learning than going to alot of other sites which I won't name.

Peace
you do realise the first roots of the computer are in the 19th century do you? And that the proof of concept, the "Why-it-works-and-does-what-it's-supposed-to-do" was given in the early 50's r?
Might be nitpicking here but still...

It's a bit late, but I'll definitely look into this. Will have a hard time linking psychedelics and computers though. You've got me interested! =D

"you do realise the first roots of the computer are in the 19th century do you? "

And i though the universe was about 14 billion years old . And i`ve never seen a computer with roots......

Allthough when i`m online my arse does seem to be rooted to the floor and my eyes rooted on the screen . I`m also sort of rooted to my neighbours router to......

I`m online about about 16 hours a day , but i`m not a junkie .

When was binary invented , and could morse code have anything to do with it ? Not with each other , with computers .

"Terrance's program Timewave Zero is quite elaborate. Timothy Leary was also a scholar in this realm. Check out Timothy Leary's Mind Mirror. Very intresting. "

I`d rather watch Fox as i think its more realistic.......

But i must admit i do have forskin seperation anxiety though .

Bill Gates and Steve Jobs admit to having taken LSD .

I love you guys and all, but I take it as it goes. I haven't been on recently because I've been taking care of all my stuff from graduating high school

Lots of good things to muse about on here, though.

I just care about my postcount.

says the guy with 300+ posts in 3 weeks. :D

you've been participating a lot, so it is logical that your mind is somehow involved. Cold Turkey is probably a bad way to separate yourself from the forum.
