At first I was not excited, I was mad, but now I am extremely excited as the possibilities are coming to me.

I had a very long and extensive dream last night, and at the very end, I realized it was a dream (I was becoming more awake) - and I told everyone in my dream I'm having a lucid dream...

So what did I do? Immidiately made out with the most attractive girl I know - as soon as I touched her lips however, I slowly faded into reality.

This is awesome news for me! I hit the first bench mark.

Lucky bugger, I've been trying for ages.

Ive only been lucid 2 times for like a second. The first time I was walking home, but everything looked slightly different. I became lucid and as I looked around everything rippled then i lost lucidity.

Second time it just happened, but I wanted to carry on with the dream so I just went back into it. I was really pissed off when I woke up aswell :x

Congratulations!

Stabelising is difficult, but comes with more experience.

do you smoke weed often? it is really difficult having a lucid dream if you regularly smoke weed

Well, the thing is that for most people smoking ganja messes up their memory.
So maybe you'll have LD's, but if you can't remember them then what's the point?
Some people however don't have any problems with Dream Recall when smoking, so it's all in the personal experience.

congrats! try rubbing your hands really hard when your dream is fading away, it really helps to return to your dreaming state :)

Seems to work for a lot of people, but last time I got lucid (while suddenly floating upwards "waking-life-style") I started rubbing my hands and still the whole thing faded away, but it seems that picking up objects or feeling objects also helps.
Or spinning around really fast (wich can also be used to change scenery)

That sounds very familiar :D . I think that in order to stay lucid, it's important to stay away from doing exciting things. Just walking and looking around is great as well, and it keeps you in the dream much longer. With some practise however you can learn to do exciting things like sex and flying and such, and that you can do those things while keeping a bit still in your mind, so that you don't lose yourself in those activities and wake up.

When I had my first lucid dream, I think I floated off my bed and through the roof of my house. I remember looking over my house and became so excited that I lost lucidity. It probably lasted only 30 seconds. Ha ha.

But I was sooooo happy the next morning.

Congratulations on your dream.

Feels good.
