extract and oral intake questions

Hi again guys. More help needed

I've got a kilo of dried cactus chunks, and 10kg of xylene. NaOH is easy found here.

Can someone quickly explain to me what each of the stages in this vid do in terms of acid/base extraction?

Any problems I need to know about?

Also - where to get the acid in the UK?

Oh - thinking about blending some to a powder and taking it in milkshake, to try pre-extract. How sick can it make you?
