Hey
I'm new here. Not the oldest :(
I found this place from a link posted to reddit. Great setup here and tons of info

I have been a psychonaut since I was about 11yo. Introduced to meditation and the art of 'control' through martial arts (northern temple Kung-Fu). During this time I found that I was able to experience/perceive/observe people's auras and chakras. I have since lost this ability as o get older and meditate less and less (few and far between now).

During highschool I started to study binaural beats and frequencies. Through my software classes, I ended up writing a raw sequence driver that can be set up to push variable frequencies to requested Left and right stereo channels. At this point I also started diving in to lucid dreaming and states of awareness between sleep and awake.

Early 20's, I started using chemicals to assist my introspectivity. However during this period, I lost a great deal of focus with meditation and lucid dreaming. I have used various psychoactives in the last decade...most experiences include: LSD, psilocybin, MDMA. Though I have also dabbled in DMT, salvia, Kava.

I am currently drawn to experience Ayahuasca and Iboga and am going further and further down the rabbit hole of entheogens.

I have always had a strong passion for consciousness and it led me through several years of software engineering trying to blueprint the brain. However somewhere over time I got so caught up in the physicality of systems, that I lost touch with the spirituality that goes hand in hand.

I don't know what else to say without rambling more.
So there you have it...that's my body in a nutshell
