eaten hash dose? HELP!!!!

Ok guys we are a group of kinda newbyes in eating hash and we would like to know how much low-normal quality hash is enough for a nice trip... I,ve red about 2 grams but if I smoke 2grams alone... it's not my kind of nice (and it,s quite expensive too)

so 0.5 seems more reasonable to me, but I'm seeking for advices...

I wouldnt start with 2 grams :)

The effects can be real intense. Probably beyond what you think is possible with cannabis. At least I greatly underestimated it at first. I enjoyed it but I felt high for 2 whole days (though the really intense part lasted only 6 hours or so).

0.5-1 grams should be enough for a first try!
And you can always take more (don't think after 45 minutes: 'Hmm nothing's happening, let's take some more' tho. It can take a while for the effects to kick in), but there's no way back if you take too much.

And dissolve the hash in butter first.
 
last monday, we put 1 gram of hasj and 2 grams of weed into butter and made muffins. we (four people) ate them and stated smoking some more joints.

after an hour i reality was fucked up in some way. some moments i still had some idea what was going on but nothing made sense. and i'm used to fair amounts of thc in my bloodstream (on a daily basis for the past 2 months)
but we were incredibly high and we did have a lot fun, it was a positive experience

just don't underestimate THC oral route :wink:
0.25g hasj and 0.5g weed is not much, but it makes a huge difference.

I have a nice anecdote about eating hashish: I was in Amsterdam with friends and we were all smoking of course, but one of our friends who wasn't much of a smoker thought he'd rather try a cookie. He was bitching about how he had wasted his money on that cookie (because he felt nothing) for somewhat over an hour. But then, suddenly, he got so confused he didn't even seem to realize that he was in Amsterdam. After a while he was tripping so hard he could hardly remember his own name, let alone where our hotel was. He was really lucky we were with him to lead him back and put him in his room.

I don't know how much hash exactly was in that cookie, but let this be a warning not to eat a huge load of hash and try to go out and party. You might end up sleeping in the streets...

For my first 15 years I ate hash and never smoked. I eat about twice a week now. How much you use varies with the cooking method, the strength of the hash, and how long it is since you last ate it. If you've got a good soft hash like Red Leb, Moroccan Gold, a cube about the size of your little finger nail is good eaten without cooking. Before anyone leaps in and says hash wont work without cooking - not true - it just wont work as well, but gives a slower release over a longer period. Some of the browner, harder, hashes are good, but they don't have the same kick or breadth of high and can be a bit mild when eaten.

Currently I take a piece of soft Nepalese black about half of the above size, another of a solid brown the same size. I put them in a cup containing about a quarter inch of milk. Boil it up for 30 seconds in the microwave,let it cool for a couple of minutes, then repeat another three times at 20 seconds, each time swilling the stuff that gets bubbled up around the inside of the cup back down into the liquid. Add one spoon sugar and some cold milk to cool it, swill down in one - or spend the next ten minutes gong 'Bleeeeeaaaaargh!':)

The high begins in about 20 mins and rises in waves to a peak after about 2 and a half hours to a good intensity that can last hours. If I begin at say, 12 middday I'll still be well ripped 9 o'clock that night, even with my high tolerance of being an every day smoker.

The high, as I said, is much broader and I've never found any kind of weed that can duplicate the feelings. Far trippier and much more fun, it just plays hell with your tolerance. Hash type is all important when eating.

I'd say, take 0.5 to 1 gram of high quality hash, warm some milk, (not too hot) and slowly stir some butter in it together with the hash, it's important to ad the butter, this is how the THC will be triggered in your body.When everything is melted you drink the brownish substance.(If you can... :) )

Ps; you might not want to make too much milk, cause I'm pretty shure you won't be drinking a full glass of it. :wink:
The taste and aftertaste is the most revolting thing ever, like drinking liquid feces I guess.

Anyway, you can expect the effects within 2 hours, after that an edge fading, deep, mellow, intense, and somehow pretty heavy experience awaits you... :)

Less then 0.5 gram would be futile, more then a gram would be a little hard to handle, I guess you can start with 0.8 for a decent experience.

Dude, this is just wrong. I've had a white-out at 0.4 gram (can't remember a thing for about two hours). This is totally dependent on the quality of the hash. I'd suggest taking a quarter gram and up the dose if you think it's not enough (not in the same sitting unless after more than 4 hours, though).
