Cubensis growkit

This is the second harvest from my cubensis growkit,now drying in a shoe box
the first flush was a little bit smaller, because a lot of mushrooms where growing and on the wrong side in the box. I had to cut them out and I threw them away, they were soaking with water and had a very small size.
Now I fixed it, by taking the light on the sides of the box away, with aluminum paper folded around the box.

Now it's soaking again for the third flush, then the water needs to be poored out of the box and the sack goes around the box again with a little water on the botomm of it, I spray them water every 2 a 3 days. And keep them in a bit dark place at 25 dregrees Celsius.

Does anyone have any comments how to get better mushrooms and how I can dry them the best way.

Case them and dont waterboard them , then be happy with what you get and do it again . No need to torture mushrooms and they cant swim anyway .......

Sad mushrooms, my eyes are watering after reading this.

Dry them at about 18 - 20 C on a piece of paper on top of a cupboard and keep an eye on them . Or do a traditional stomach drying = eat them........

Your harvest looks pretty normal for a 2nd flush, nothing you could do better about it, I guess.

In my experience the shrooms in the later flushes always were bigger when I flooded the cake with water for a few hours after the harvest (only for a few hours, like 12 hours or so at most!).
