Can we create a church for Sally

I was wondering if anyone here has any legal expertise in the realm of creating an organization in which Salvia could be instituted as part of the ceremony.

I'm thinking that if we could organize this before it was made illegal we might be able to retain legal usage if it becomes banned.

I know the supreme court recently allowed for the use of ayahuasca for a religious group in the U.S.

Any ideas from anyone?

People have tried this with varying degrees of success for different psychedelics. Obviously it didn't work for LSD..

It worked for Peyote, after all indigenous tribes have been using it as a sacrament for generations.. but you can be sure the DEA and neocons would love to put a stop to it if they could..

After standing 5 meters from my computer and putting welders goggles on i could read your post . There is no chance whatsoever of organising a church to use saliva . There arent enough people who want it , there is no history of use as a religeon and there is no political will to do it .

But the idea's not that stupid... I remember myhigh school days, when a Kogi (from a colombian tribe) visited our school (in France)... The guy showed us his "poporo", that was basically a small pot used to crush coca leaves before he could chew them. So the guy was using them in front of our teachers (who didn't quite understood the whole thing) and we were like "man, the guy managed to pass the customs with coca leaves"...

But I don't think a bunch of merry pranksters could initiate a whole Salvia church... Even though I'd love it.
