I'm asking because I'm sometimes taking Reactine Duo pills because they contain pseudoephedrine.
I don't care for the Cetirizine (an antihistamine that's useful against allergies) I only care for the pseudoephedrine.
The effect is good because the pills contain 120mg pseudoephedrine hydrochloride, that's quite something - you can either swallow them as is (time released) and get a small boost for many hours, or you can crush them and get a strong ephedrine boost immediately.
I know about the dangers of ephedrine (blood pressure, heart rate etc.) but I have no idea if cetirizine can be harmful if taken too often. I mean on the package it says take them for 2-4 weeks (which is usually the time frame of an allergic reaction to certain pollen). Can the stuff be harmful if I take it like once or twice a week for a longer period of time?
The pills contain 5mg of cetirizine each, which is, as far as I have found, not a high dose.
