what works as a preventative to stop mould in big bud colas?
ive had a few patches in the bigger colas what seem to be eminating from the preflower which has died off, or the little prong thing i cant remember the name of offhand next to the preflower.
the mould itself disappears once the colas had been pulled open and apart, which is something i didnt really want to do, i never usualy touch a bud till chopping unless somethings wrong. any way with no other answer to hand, humidity and temps was lowered and large buds pulled apart to allow air/light circulation.
it the last 12 inches or so of the colas, where the buds become tightly packed together.
i really could do with this tree to go full term (9 weeks) to be able to compare what 360* vertical sidelighting yields like on a plant, aside from the half dozen small patches of mould so far is looking pretty good.
