since I have no idea what our frenchies are talking about I decided to open an english thread.

is anybody of you going there? it's not unlikely that I'll go there, even though the tickets got even more expensive.. but hey, it pays off.

hmm i'd maybe go if i had enough money, but well i don't like so big festivals so much... but also maybe because i haven't been to many and i don't know whether it'll payoff before already having been there, and for that i needed to be in the future lol :D

This festival was one of my biggest waste of time & money.

The area is terrible, the people consist of 50% clubbers (I don't know wtf they were doing here) and 40% New-age minded hippies, and the prices are incredibly high (not only the ticket).

give it a try, then you know ;) there may be many people there, but the area is HUGE. you can camp somewhere with zero to none neighbours.

money.. yes. flights to lissabon aren't that expensive anymore, but it's still quite much when everything adds up.
I made a plan, I think I might fly to bilbao, take my bike with me and go on a pilgrimage on the way of st. james to the boom festival ;) not that I think it'd be cheaper, but sure as hell it'd be more fun.
last time two guys went there with a tandem, from belgium

the area is terrible? come on, what was wrong with it? the only thing that I didn't like about it was the dust and the leeches in the lake.
concerning the people, whatever man. I didn't notice that much clubbers. and yes, there are a lot of neohippies, but what did you expect?
ok, it really was pricey down there.

hmm i was suspecting that ... when i was in thailand at the famous "full moon party" it was similar really. just a bunch of boozers; i was at parties that didn't have anything special and were a LOT better than that party, but well maybe i rant too much because i was a bit disappointed, as i had high expectations! ;)

my mum went to the fullmoon party. she didn't like it, may I quote: "all that techno all the time, terrible"
but well, fullmoon is another story really..

yeah man don't get me wrong i haven't been there.. but lol you seem to have a cool mum banana ;) and well also the fullmoon party was cool, but it didn't appeal to me as so special anymore... and who knows maybe i will go if i can harvest enough money... :D 8)

Okay I am not going.
I watched some videos about last boom festival and it looked cool. I am not into psytrance so I wouldn't go there for the music. I am not into visiting big festivals.
