Wow, we're talking summer 2006!!! Did you already pack your bags??

I'm helping to build op the Dance a Delic festival in Belgium for a few years now. (Exept last year because the police doesn't seem to like goa music) This time i would like to help at BOOM festival 2006 at Portugal. Can somebody tell me who I have to contact so I can help to create a great festival?

Create the ripples of the cosmic lake!

The dates of the next Boom festival edition have been perceived.
We are now just a little less then a year to its start.
One of the great news, is that Boom is extending its length.
At Boom HQ we sense the need to slightly expand the duration of the Boom.
This is so that all projected activities and programs may fit.
Also that everyone can get a slow adaptation to the Boom village.
The schedule for the cosmic voyage guided by mother Nature, is as follows:

3 of August 2006 - Opening of the gates!
The gates of the Boom festival will open at 09:00 AM.
This will be the day reserved for you to flow in, settle your camp and prepare for the experience to come.
All basic infrastructures will be ready and working to attend to your needs.

4 of August 2006 - Opening of most Art areas!
The Ambient and Liminal Villages, Performances and Art sectors will start / open;

5 of August 2006 - Let the cosmic dance begin!
The Dance floor will open and join all the other running areas.

5 to 9 August 2006 - Full running of the Boom festival!

9 August 2006 - End of all programs!
At sunset all Musical and Art areas will close down.

10 August 2006 - Closure of site!
The gates will close at Sunset.
You have the whole day to pack your camp and start your trip back home or to Utopia
(the official after Boom party).

Everyone must leave the Boom festival site by Sunset.

anyway...are there any smartshops there like in VooV ?

I am also planning on going there, don't know about the smartshops though. Portugal is not such an open enviroment like in Holland or even Germany. I was at the VOOV 2005 also.

Were there many smartshop there then ?

i don't know...maybe it's possible that there are some shops at the market place on the festival ?

Must be some smart shops at those festivals right? I mean, I think it's great that I can get some energizers or maybe even LSA seeds or salvia (for there or back home) at festivals!

What do you guys think? What do u use/like to use at festivals?

BTW, need a ride to festivals, see forum Festivals and lifts - Have or need a ride???

with a bit of luck some friends are going with me but they're not sure.
but i'm allways in for meeting new people there so...

Magic indeed. Great atmosphere, great, open-minded people, great music, great lectures. Best festival for me so far. See you all in two years @ the next Boom?

Were there many smartshop there then ?

You dont need smartshops in Portugal . I m portuguese , I ve been in hundreds of Goa partys and festivals , and in portuguese partys everybody have drugs is more easy to find LSD than a cigarrete . In boomfestival2000 i saw people with t-shirts saying( I have lsd , I have shrooms , etc ...) , now is more controled , but is always an open enviroment , at least in the partys .
