Black 'Shrooms

Hey,

Few days ago i bought some fresh shrooms @ azarius. At arrival, they looked great. I immediately started drying them, but now I have a little problem:
Some shrooms just dried and are still white/grey, like they're supposed to be.
But some others have turned black. Not just a few spots, but the whole shroom!

Is this a bad thing? I read somewhere that these shrooms are rotten, but this thread (http://www.psychonaut.com/index.php...age=viewtopic&t=24570&highlight=black&lang=nl) says it's normal.

You probably bougt fresh kit and then dry it as I have imformed myself from text.Fugus were veary fresh-for spore printing excelent.That black staff on couple of dhem are dryed infected spores couse they where not colected right and the result is black silky colour on strings and caps of shrooms.NO WORY. They are super-b to consume.Only need to try indentify them to know right dose fore right desireble effect.Try to scrape with clean knife this blacknes, cook some brown rice(not powdered) and mix spores-black mat, with rice in one 1,5-5dcl bottle-jar and cover it up with lid,alu-foyl.If rice is in one peace and not exposed to to much other contaminants you will have 70 percent for yours maybe firs home made growbox, and then continue proces to the infinity.Try couse one spore is enough for coloniazation-no need for buying more from store.And your question is detailed answerd with super tip what to do if you have 2hours free. Why you dry them- its summer and sHroomy are not cHaotic ACID.When you dry them from my XP, the lost of potency is quaranted.Somebody do not agree with that.But in my case when drying is not as super-b like lab drying lost in psilocin concetraction is cirten and some psilocyibin.Fresh is the Best-right dose-religion-right people and imaginary ritual will show the way how to do it mext time and maybe wicca will be realised in you with Astral travel near and after peak of ego meta treeshaping.READ SECOND POST AND BE HAPPY;BLESSED AND HELOVED! 8) peace

thx for the answers. It's indeed the fresh kit from azarius I bought.
I don't need them for the spores, to grow my own shrooms. I just want to eat them to have a nice trip without being sick.

So conclusion is: I can eat the black shrooms or not?

As mate I have sad.That Black- are spores droped by caps or maybe this is strain that turn to deeper nianse when start to root,drying or they are oldeies.NO HARM OR PARANOIA ABOUT THAT, this is normal lool for older shroom.And bone apetite By Hrky, Sin Loi 8)

i had like the same problem, so i decided to make a cocktail:
buy some lemons and squeeze them so you have lemon juice, cut the mushrooms into little bits and put them into the lemon juice, i also added some pineapple juice and some sugar to sweeten it up a little. you still have to chew on the mushrooms but there is no mush taste left because of the lemon juice.

also, citric acid helps sometime to increase the effects of the trip.
i did it with less than 2 grams of dried mushies and i had a nice trip

Rotten shrooms smell rotten. If they still smell okay, then there shouldn't be a problem. Blackness can be either due to the released spores or to the fact that the psilocybin is turned into the (blue) psilocyn. If there's a lot of active stuff in your shrooms, they can turn almost black eventhough they are still edible.
