Hello,
i am just about to birth my first cake (ever). What should i do to initiate pining? My idea is to take the cake on to the caffe cup plate and put it in my 2l poor mans terrarium (here is a picture of it), with layer(s) of wet paper towels on the bottom.I was planning to put all together on a room temperature (20+) with giving it 5-8 ours of natural or lamp indirect light. I thought of maybe dunk the cake through the night in the cold water.But i dont have any vermiculite to roll it in afterwards,or rolling isnt so necesary.Should it be sufficient? help, advices needed...
