has anyone tried the binaural frequencies ? there are some shareware programs that are freely downloaded... brainwave generator is one of them. if you like, you can google it!
i tried it last night, i spent about 15 or 20 minutes listening to a self-hipnosis pattern, and i am unsure if it caused anything, because i smoked a strong hashish 10m previous of this experience. i some times felt like i was floating high in my bed, and that alternated with the feeling that i was sinking deep in it. i laughed a lot, then i became with fear. it seemed like i was being tested by an alien. all of my bed seemed like a space ship.
i don't think this was from the hashish, since i am an experienced MJ smoker. this program with the lights off, lying in bed, is interesting and worth trying.
for those who don't know, this kind of patterns were invented by tesla, since he seeked knowledge from frequencies (he did some experiments into demolishing buildings by the use of the correct ressonance). i found this in a old erowid news, or post, or whatever i can't recall.

I was testing the same program a while ago. Yes, it produced some interesting efects. But only when i smoked weed.

When sober I might have felt something but it was far too weak.

IMO 3/4 of the efects is placebo.

Well i tried it.. If i don't get a high score on my coming tests at least I have something to blame 8)

placebo indeed. but with an "enhancer" like weed, it sure is interesting. last time i did it, my head began to spin and i had to throw up, but, again, perhaps was the strong hashish! i'll never know!

Hmm... could Trance Goa music use those frequency things to make you buzz?

Psychoid a dit:

You can put in certain rythms in any music to make brainwaves get to another frequency. But it's not like a drug, where you're supposed to feel something.
It's to get your brainwaves in a certain state, for example for sleeping, learning, reading, relaxing....

I tried the Brainwave Generator and I must say some presets are really good for meditation. The constant sounds make it easier to forget everything and only meditate. If they also tune the brain to another frequency, I don't know. But I like it for a quick meditation break that relaxes and refreshes me.
