So i was just reading about this form of ingesting cannabis
its seems like something i'd like to try so i was wondering if anyone else had tried it before or made it themselves?
because i'd like to make some but i need a good recipe
also bhang halva would be nice to make....

anyone made or had this before?
 
"HOT BUTTERED BHANG"

In a saucepan, melt half a cube (1/8 pound) of butter or ghee. Crumble a good handful of marijuana tops or leaves (1/3 - 1/2 ounce [!$WoW$!]).
Stir the grass into the molten butter. Continue stirring over medium heat for one minute. While it is hot or sizzling, add 8 ounces of vodka. Be cautious that the hot butter does not make the mixture spatter.

It is best to pour in the vodka swiftly. Continue to boil for 30 seconds or more, stirring all the while. A pinch or two of powdered cardamom seed may be added during the boiling. . . .

"After boiling as much as desired, strain the liquids. Press the mash in a strainer with the back of a spoon to remove all the juices.
Discard mash or boil it again in fresh vodka to salvage more materials. Sweeten to taste with honey if wanted. Pour the liquid into 4-ounce wine glasses. . . . Serves two. [!!]

Ingredients:

• 1/2 Ounce cannabis
• 2 Cups warm whole milk
• 1/2 Cup sugar
• 1 tbsp Coconut milk
• 1 tbsp Almonds, chopped
• 1/8 tsp Ginger, powdered
• 1 Pinch garam masala
• 1/2 tsp Grenadine
• 1 Cup water

How to make Bhang Lassi:
• Bring water to a boil in a teapot and add cannabis to it.
• Brew for about 7 to 10 minutes, then strain.
• Gradually grind the strained cannabis along with 2 tbsp of milk, repeat this process several times.
• Strain the milk into another bowl and keep aside.
• Add a little more milk to the cannabis and grind it along with the almonds, repeat this several times.
• Remove the cannabis and pour the milk, coconut milk, grenadine and boiled water into a container.
• Combine ginger, sugar, and garam masala with it, keep stirring.
• Bhang Lassi is ready to serve.

should be good, thinking also of making bhang halva but i'll start with the bhang and try it out lol
 
Yup . 14 G. Sounds like fun to me . I want 5 please . ( = 5 X bhang not 5 gramms ) .
 
10 grams?? Hash?? Are you sure?
 
bhang is usualy made with lower grade leaf or trim rather than high grade bud.
if you have a few days to put aside use bud. good trim is usually around 10-15% resin, thats enough for most recipes IMO.
 
why a few days? Mhmmm I have no real possibility if my hash or weed is good, what strang it is, where it comes from :?

2 years ago yesterday i ate >14g PurePowerPlant in cake. i was wasted for 3-4 days. really wasted, as in unable to hold a conversation.

if you want an evenings entertainment put use 2-3g per person. if its good you will still feel a bit fuzzy the next day but should be able to function normally

Thats a great recipe drugless. Does anyone know how important this step is?

If you completely skip this step will it hurt the potency? I've had some very strong stuff that skipped that step. It lasted days if you have plenty of it. My tolerance was as high as it's ever been and enough bhang to have 3g cannabis in it would get me alot more stoned than smoking could, and for about 8 hours. The only flavouring in it was garam masala and honey but it was very tasty. Put a bit in your coffee/tea.

If you get like 10-20gs into you at once it should be like taking a trip. Some of my most 'psychonautic' experiences have been from high dose cannabis. Bhang is very effective for me, it seems to kick in pretty fast, half an hour on an empty stomach. I'd say it's right behind green dragon for high dose cannabis.

I don't know if this is a stupid question, but are there any vegans struggling to find something to cook their cannabis in? Does soymilk have enough fat? would margarine work?

Whats green dragon ?

The step you are talking about is the difference between a good extraction and a bad one .

Margarine will work or any vegetable oil .

Maybe try 10 - 20 gramms of the best hash you can get . Powder it and let it stand in some margarine / oil , then heat it a little and then add a bit of suggar and eat on an empty stomach .
 
About that step... laziness wins again. Maybe I will do it again with all the proper ingredients one day.

It's just a fancy name for cannabis extract.



That sounds very tasty GOD but the best hash I can get is the yellow crap i scrape out of my vaporiser so I might use buds/leaf with oil/margarine from time to time. :)
 
If you have acess to leaves make your own hash .
 
Hey sorry to dig up old thread, but how much weed/alcohol would one use for green dragon? I have average weed (like '5-6' on a scale from 1 to 10) and 94% alcohol (that's 188 proof I think). Oh and "as much weed as you can cram into a bottle" is sadly not gonna happen...

100 grams of leaves / 50 grams of bud per bottle. Pick something with a lower alcohol content, so it's drinkable.
 
The 94% is perfect. You don't want to use weaker alcohol, it won't extract as well, plus you can just dilute the finished product to whatever you like.

You can use as little amount of herb as you like. just use enough alcohol to cover the weed up. You could try 10 grams in a little bottle if you wanted.
