This may sound like a stupid question, but what is the best solution to use for substrate to use when growing cubensis PF-style.

1}Ratio 3( cups or what ever container u get just follow the ratio) brown rice flour:4 water:8 vermiculite
2}Same as above but u include budgie food seeds, millet brown, red etc.and flax seed.Soak the budgie seeds for a night or two,use the water instead of the water in the first tech.Flax seed too is good to put in.but don't soak it too much cuz it gets sticky. The important thing is to follow the basic water flour vermiculite ratio, seeds just boost the nutrition needed.Dont forget to put a dry vermiculite layer before closing the jars.
3}new tech.Budgie seeds, plain flower soil, without chemicals pls,u don't want to kill ur mushis,if u dont find, just use coco soil but not coco fibers.U can get it at any hydroponicstore or gardening store, the cheapest coco soil is the compressed one,u put water in it and it gets huge later. So u get ur jars and seeds and soil and u follow my guru tech>>>>>>>

When mixing water into BRF/Vermiculite do it slowly and stir well together, when you can pull all of it to one side and tilt the bowl a TINY ammount of water should come out of the substrate.

Thank you man, what u sad is really really important.Even after so many,i still do that mistake. If u don't stir well, there will be parts of the substrate with more rice flour, which in combination with water and heat from the sterilizing process will turn some parts of the jar really hard to colonize.U can prevent that at the beginning, just observe the reaction of the substrate while u fill the jar.If it stick to the glass and leave a lot of brownish trace on the glass u will need lil more vermiculite and more stirring.
