Baby Peyotes

hey guys i was just wondering if you could help me with something. i planted 35 peyote seeds, and so far 16 have popped up. on about 3 of them theres almost mold hair type things coming off them. i used no-damp or whatever its called, so i dont think theres suposed to be anything like that. is this normal to see that type of thing on new peyotes? (its been a week since planting)

i overwinter all my cacti under fluorescent lights. i live in the highlands of scotland so have little choice. energy savinng lightbulbs are excellent and i make sure they are no more than 30cm away/no less than 10cm. ive given up on peyote but sanpedro and peruviana both thrive. a word of warning though; they can dry fataly without regular watering while young but initially grow very quickly.(they then grow maddeningly slowly). in the summer you can put them outside but they are prone to spidermite, among other things so from that point of view better a windowsill or leave them under the light.
