hey guys
just wanting to let u know that this thing works great
about a week ago I received the box... I think even less
and allready I have about 10 almost 1 centimeter tall cacti..
IN LESS THAN A WEEK I came home today and saw them and i`m like wtf how the ??...
anyways its kinda fast isnt it ??
was just wondering if its not going 2 fast and if I should maybe treat them otherwise now ?

like when u have a early born baby :P

oh and should I keep the ground warm ???
cause I had a lamp hanging above it all the time.. and the ground was pretty warm and the the atmosphere was damp
but I took the lamp off now and the ground is pretty cold now
it not a special fluorscent lamp or anything just and ordinary lightbulb of 25W

It is not something special that cacti burst from seeds like that,My home grown Peyote produced seeds and I have plant them-same result as you have described. But this is first year and this is "year of establising roots".Cacti will grow to the 1to4cm in height and at Fall stops.Trought winter root will be finished and green peace formed to reach sky.At this point now I mean give every 2-3 days one large spone of water and I hope that you have put them in the smallest pots that you have find couse if there is too much earth seed-younglings will organise to make bigger roots and result will be slower advance to the sky(but do not panic-its OK even that way)And I have forgot-put cover plastic to get humidity around top of layer and cacti and remove it one one hour when you give water to plant.I have try this and works well. And cacti is not shroom so lamp do not help.Put pots in shade of some larger plant-this is important 8) :?: -I will answer

allright thanks :P finally someone answer my question a bit
well they are in a growbox Goran
so there is a lid on it all the time.. and there has been himidity on that from the beginning
but some cacti are now falling over I dunno if thats bad since they are still just really tiny
I was thinking about putting them in pots when they were a bit bigger and stronger... cause if I take them out now.. they will probably get squished in my hands
oh and if I put them in pots.. will I need special ground for them ??
cause now I have normal black soil mixed with Cacti soil .. and on the bottems theres little gravel(stones) for the filtering
I really wanna do the best for my pedro's :D so they can grow big and strong

hmmz about half of the pedro's fell on the ground and are rotting away :S
what am I doing wrong ??

Poor baby's! Maybe the humidity was a little too high? I once had an Azarius san pedro growkit myself and I ended up with 6 or seven real cacti out of 20 seeds, I think that's rather normal.

I've also got the San Pedro growbox, have had it now for 2 weeks but still no cacti... I'll just keep looking after them and I'll keep my fingers crossed, pray everyday to the spirit of the cactus   :P

do carevuly remove the roting cactus before they infect the rest of your cactus.

yeah I thought about that :P
so I removed all of them ..
and now yesterday I fou nd a little insect in my box..
very small looked a bit white..
and btw I let my box dry out now cause the humidity was waaaaaaaaay to high

You'll have to keep an eye out for vermin. Don't let them take your babies :P

well I have 7 left now.. and they are doing great...
they are not growing very fast anymore but they look healthy and theres no vermin or fungus or something like that in it
if these all survive :) im a very happy man :)

These white things tend to appear when you overwater plants. I got them in my Salvia and cannabis. But since it are cacti, I cant really imagine you're overwatering.
