lately it came to my awareness that all this plastic everywhere is fucking crazy. go to a supermarket and try to buy something that is not wrapped in something that withstands the natural cycle. it is really hard.
so, for the next 4 weeks, I will not buy or use anything with plastic on it. this is going to be rather hard because I love coffee, and I'm afraid it only comes in plastic packages. (except... hmmm there might be a way to get coffee unpackaged). I might have to leave the possibility of using toothpaste, since in this case I have no idea how I'd get it plastic free and my teeth aren't the best at all.

so, next four weeks, no plastic or metal wrapper. paper is ok, tetra paks are not.

in other news, I will also not masturbate for 90 days, and especially not watch porn. to see what happens.

edit: god damnit toilet paper is always packaged.

i like where your head is at.

about brushing teeth. "arm and hammer" baking soda works well on the teeth. not the tastiest but it does come in cardboard. also maybe try some "oil pulling". essentially all one does is hold a cooking oil (i've heard sesame is best, but any will do) in the mouth for about 20 minutes, before one has eaten anything for the day. the logic is that a bacteria's average lifespan is about 15-20 min, and also this gives a good window of time for the oil to "pull" toxins from the body through the lining of the mouth.

about TP, ... good luck. i wish i knew of a responsible brand. i know there are brands that don't bleach theirs, perhaps some research could find you a brand that doesn't use plastic either. in fact, i'd put money on it.

also about the masturbation, let me know how that (doesn't) go. i've been hearing good things about abstaining from it. especially in regards to kundalini, orgone, chi, and other related schools of thought. i've actually been experimenting with this lately as well, but it is too early for me to conclude anything, and would be good to have somebody to compare notes with if you are comfortable. pm's always welcome.

I've heard of this oil thing, sounds good, gonna try it. sesame oil is going to be expensive, so I'll see to use a different one. it is a shame that it goes straight to waste after that. maybe I could still use it for a stir fry or something

I went shopping today, I miss milk. no yoghurt also. there's a place 6km from here where they sell raw milk (amazing stuff), and you have to bring your own container. but it is still a bit too far, I think I might start asking the farmers around here. not buying plastic seems to make you live healthier in a way, because you can't just buy packaged, processed stuff but you have to get/make it yourself somehow. next project will be homemade yoghurt :) after that, noodles.

comparing notes is way ok, I've been wondering anyway why the topic of sexuality is never being discussed on here. I think I am comfortable with that, I once even thought of posting all the fantasies that I have - just for the sake of it, since nobody ever talks about it

as for first observations, I'm super horny. I feel quite charged, in a good but also a bit stressful way. this is probably what the hindus mean when they talk of rajas. what is sure is that I don't feel lethargic at all right now, which was mostly my main mode of existence the last two months (blame shiftworking (and wanking)). not entirely sure what to do with all this energy. check out this ted talk: TEDxGlasgow - Gary Wilson - The Great Porn Experiment - YouTube
