why should i see another person tripping ?
isn't this an intimate thing ?

I don't know.
Maybe you can recognize some parts of the trip?
Can be interesting?

Psychedelics are ment to be used for own personal growth, not to brodcast it to the world. People like this are the ones who are going to make Lady Salvia illegal.

We also like to hear trip-reports from each other, right?
What is a better trip report then filming yourself while you're tripping and telling about the effects.
I don't really see the problem and i think it can be very interesting.

we do ? are we psychologists/neurologists or psychonauts ?

i don't really understand the first sentence, i think something is missing. but even if it is a question, i don't know what to answer if you ask what is "better". if you get bored reading...perhaps we have to wait for bbc to tell us what it is and what it does ?
you don't see a problem ? when salvia will get banned in the EU (it is just a matter of time, IMHO), then you will see what that video of a social-retard added greatly to our lives and world-views!

BTW, what's a trip report for ? what it is use ?

Trip reports made me swear never to take datura

The point is that those are the kind of videos that I can picture being broadcasted as "shocking" and whatnot by the media in an attempt to further portray Salvia and other entheogens as crazy plants that make people go crazy. And then ban them.

I too wouldn't like a camera on my face while tripping; what's so important to record? The most interesting is going inside your mind.

Trip-reports can learn people about a substance and the person who took it.
CAN be interesting. Depends on the person, substance and the quality of the trip-report.

Ok, maybe you don't like it.
But if you want to learn more about a substance (before taking it), then it can be helpfull.

yes, it is important for the first timer. i just don't agree with this method of "advertising". it is bad for the future of the drug...
it is very easy for a sensionalist television pick one of those videos and do a piece of news untitled "see what your children are learning on psychonaut.com".
than what ?
i am sure that you had the best of intentions, helping the new people to be prepared and what to expect...but...you know.
(and this is not my business, i am not a moderator - just speaking my mind)

That's kind of true, but if they want to harm psychonaut.com, but they will always find something to pick on.

By the way, i'm not the person in the video

And by posting this, it’s making it easier for them to do so.
I don’t want our beloved site to be accused of supporting naive and headstrong teens who abuse anything they can get their hands on.
We advocate safety, information and respect;
not careless experimentation with something considered banal by those who misuse it.

Just be more mindful in future.
