2nd Time on Mescaline + cannabis
So I did my 2nd trip on mesca last weekend, consumed it raw yet again + drinking and swallowing. I did this on a completely empty stomach to avoid cramps which I experienced on my 1st trip.
I took 35 cm's again, but the part was much thicker than my previous one I ate.
It kicked in quite well and fast, very well noticeable effect after 30 mins. The trip itself was full onset after 3 hours, it was quite strong and hallucinated much more than on my 1st trip (though still less than on acid).
I became very sleepy and dreamy, though I did not lay down and walked in my living room and opened the door to outside, the fresh air 'tasted' amazing and sometimes I could not tell whether I was awake or not. But overall I totally kept control over my behaviour. The full moon really impressed me and in the half dark there were these trails in all colours. When I stared at the moon for a while it was like I totally got another shot of the distance from earth to there. I was astounded by the ACTUAL distance I could 'see' unlike
the distance that I watched in documentaries and books.
Somehow it popped in my mind that smoking weed would add more sensation and more profoundness to my trip. I had three good shots of pure cannabis in a pipe and kept it in my lungs just as with salvia. I fell nothing the first 5 mins but then became extremely thirsty and was overwhelmed by the amount of water I to drink to keep my trip enjoyable. Strange enough it seems that Mescaline is a weak substance when it comes to combinations. The weed totally overpowered it. I had not excpected this, the colourfull feeling of love turned into disorientation and slightly uncontrolled thoughts. My vision became occasionally very blurried and my throat was just too dry to walk for longer than 5 mins without having any water. General relaxtion was less as well.
Any form of toxination, which you won't feel that much when clean, becomes very irritating and noticeable with high on Mesca. My skin was dried out, I'm sure the trip itself made it harder that it actually would be in reality. But mentally this was unpleasant. I even had a flight of fear for about 10 seconds. I focussed too much on the hot feeling in my lungs and throat. When I thought this due to the weed, I became relax again.
Anyway, it took a good 5 hours before I go walk without having any water and this was a cut in my trip, I don't regret smoking cannabis but it was no fine addition at all.
My advice would be to anyone, to not smoke or snort any substance while tripping on Mescaline. ( I didn't snort but I estimate the nose thing will be not appreciated either by a brain on M) Also not inhale any smoke around you. I'm pretty sure that if I had swallowed the weed, it would have been much nicer. I never get any dry mouth of a spacecake.
I decided to I'll leave Mescaline for a while, for having respect for my San Pedro and the plant material itself. I cut 35 cm out of my 80 cm san pedro. It should be a rare and unique occasion IMO. The duration was quite long, after 14 hours I became clean. I'm still feeling sleepy and dizzy now at work. Probably due to the lack of sleep and various MAOI's I took in.
